天主教鳴遠中學係咪真係好差架?

One of my former colleague is now teaching there, and since he is my friend I can share with you something.

It is a Band 3 school for sure, but due to its academic performance only. As my friend informed me before, its students have very poor English background and the school management wants to use more English in NSS, a contradiction arises. Their learning attitude is satisfactory by considering its Band 3 background.

Their discipline is not bad, however. At least, you would not find the police stationed in it everyday to catch the guilty students! As I mention, the students here have generally developed the learning atmosphere, but since their intake are too weak, you cannot expect a dramatic breakthrough when they sit for HKCEE or HKALE before.

If you have to enter it for study, do not afraid. It is acceptable.

鳴遠雖然成績唔係話好，勝在課外活動多。同埋聽講佢地初中學生一定要參加制服團隊，例如紅十字會、民安隊少年團。

之前參觀過鳴遠中學，覺得鳴遠既新校長同老師都幾nice、幾有熱誠。佢地老師話放學後仲會幫學生免費補習添～

就好似樓上所講，Band 3中學都唔一定全部咁差，Band 3學生既程度雖然可能比較差，但其實好多都幾乖架～

過左咁耐等我update下，其實依家D Band 3中學都改變好多，鳴遠自從轉咗校長後積極改善校風，比之前好好多。

我問過啲老師啦.~佢地都話鳴遠佢係band3中既band3喎..不過我吾知係吾係啦...!但係佢一定係band3囉!
