I have a D90 body ($6480), with three lens: Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D ($790)+Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm F3.5-5.6G ED VR ($2380)+Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm F4.5-5.6 G ED VR ($2800)=標準至中距定焦鏡頭+標準變焦鏡頭+遠攝變焦鏡頭. I suggest you buy the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR instead of the 18-105mm if you buy a D90.
Also, if you buy some Nikon初階機 (D3100, D5100), after you use it well, i think you will wanna buy some high level one, so i suggest you buy D90 (Nikon中階機). Also if you use and keep the lens well, i doubt you can use those lens around 5 years without damage.
