The position of the adverb or adverbial phrase can be (1)before the Subject or (2)at the end of the sentence:

(1) Adverb+Subject+Verb+.......

as in

Annually +my school +holds a sports day.

or

(2) Subject+Verb+...+ Adverb

as in

My school+holds+a sports day+annually.

The same rule applies to your second sentence. Both sentences are correct. I suppose it is more emphatic if you put the Adverb before Subject+Verb.

Hope you find the explanation useful.

不太明你所問的是甚麼?是否(xxx)是提示,但ANS也答得不太對的樣子。這種問題有很多答法的:
1.How often does your school hold a sports day ?(annually)
ANS: My school holds a sports day annually. [如果用annually則最好放在最後。
ANS: My school holds a sports day once a year.
ANS: My school holds a sports day every year.

2.How often do you visit your grandparents?(every other day)
你post上來的答案跟問題不符的,是否抄錯了?
ANS: Three times a week he goes to the swimming pool ./ He goes to the swimming pool three times a week.把three times a week放後面會好些。
ANS: I visit my grandpartents every other day.
ANS: I visit my grandpartents three time a week.

ANS: I visit my grandpartents three times a week.[更正]
