Besides contributing to weight loss, regular aerobic exercise improves blood circulation, which, in turn eliminates clots and contributes to better heart function. Exercise alone will lower your cholesterol...but the Best way to lower cholesterol is through a healthy diet. Combining exercise with healthy eating is the key to lowering cholesterol and decreasing the risk of heart attack or stroke.

The reason for the buildup of cholesterol is to protect the arteries that have become damaged. But it isn't a permanent affliction. While exercise is important to maintain good overall health, water is more important for cholesterol. High cholesterol deposits are the result of chronic dehydration. When you don't drink enough water, the blood becomes acidic. Passing through the lungs it loses even more water through respiration. When this acidic blood enters the arteries, it is under a shearing pressure that produces minute cuts and abrasions to the membrane of the artery walls. To prevent this damage from peeling and causing an embolism in the brain or other organ, the body produces the so-called "bad" cholesterol to cover and protect the damage like a waterproof bandage until it can be repaired. The problem isn't the plaque. The problem is a medical profession that doesn't recognize dehydration as the cause of health problems - the dehydration goes untreated, allowing the acidic blood to perpetually damage the arteries until they become blocked with cholesterol that is designed to save your life. Cholesterol buildup can be eliminated once the dehydration is corrected.
