Just wondering, do you aspire the sounds in capital for the following sentences? Do you aspire them all the time, or do you ignore them some time when you are speaking quickly, for example like = laig, What = Wha(t) touching the top of the upper palate but without making a sound for (t). Thank you very much.

it's liKe, ...... .................

i liKe apples. do you liKe apples?

whaT movies do you watch?

whaT?

It should be aspired but when spoken quickly to start another word, the aspiration gets lost, and the tongue holds the aspiration back.

When speaking quickly, I tend to use the K in 'liKe' but not the T in 'whaT'. Don't know why. Hope this helps.
