Women buying and putting on shoes that don't fit them?

I just don't understand this. I saw a young women in her mid 20s wearing a pair of high heels that obviously don't fit her. Her feet are like 6.5, and the pair of high heels is like 7.5. I could clearly see that there was a huge gap between the heel grip and the back of her foot. What's the deal with this?

I often ponder this as well, and I'm a young woman in my mid 20's!

maybe this was a pair of shoes she lend from a friend or sister because she liked them, but she was to stupid to understand that a look like that is kind of.. Well.. Stupid. Or she liked the shoes, but they werent left in her size, so she bought a bigger one. You dont know, people just do stupid stuff sometimes.
