I'm from the UK and I love it. We had Australian neighbours as I was growing up who always brought big jars of it back with them every time they travelled back to their home, and it's not exactly the same as marmite, though very similar.
Yes, I like it, though I haven't eaten it since those childhood days. I eat marmite regularly though.
YES. On toast, it's sooo good.
We usually have marmite here though (the UK), which tastes the same just much darker.
No, I don't. But I do probably eat some things that you wouldn't care for. I guess we all develop a liking for the things that we are used to and grew up with.
It's what you call an acquired taste... I like it, but I'm from Europe, living in the states have not found one person. But they put mayo on everything!
Oddly enough, I actually have a jar of Vegemite in my house. However, I'm not really all that crazy about the taste of Vegemite. In fact, I would have never tried Vegemite if I hadn't known an Australian a few years back (don't ask me what the hell she was doing in Connecticut--this place sucks).
We call it Marmite here, yeah it's okay but not had it in a while.
We call it Marmite...and no I don't.
thats a real thing? I thought it was just in that song by Men at Work.
i've got by no skill had vegemite nor marmite (usa, no longer particularly interior the markets) I do choose for to attempt it that is purely that all and sundry meals take getting used to, so i might think of maximum people who are not used to it would not like it purely like how an outstanding sort of folk do unlike peanut butter. that could be a staple interior the US, yet many Europeans do no longer like it
I have heard about it as well as marmite, never tasted any. Heard about it here on yahoo foods.
I would prpbably like it.
Not sure you could find it in France? I will look for it. I know just about all items available in groceries stores here. Does not ring a bell.
Not really...but my dad does. He puts it in his congee which I find unappetising...
