Is there any negative health effect after the gallbladder is removed surgically?

Not necessarily. There is the small chance of damage to the bile duct, in which case you can experience bile leakage, infections, etc.

Some people have trouble with high fat foods afterwards but no serious health effects. I know several people who have had the surgery and are doing quite well years later.
