It is becuase the United States feels that we will elect a republican president. I honestly hope that whoever we pick puts the federal deficit and debt at the top of the to do list, and with speed, vigor, and intelligence.

Obama's self-depracating humor went over your head. He had said at one point he would rather be a bold one term president than ineffective two termer. He did not say he preferred to have only one term.

Because Obama is acting like Bush and a typical corrupt democrat/republican(because they are the same). They've done the same things. Obama gave billions to oil companies, Obama screwed up healthcare like romney, Obama gives billions to large corporations and banks, Obama is spending us into a deeper debt than what Bush gave us. Obama got us into two undeclared wars overseas just like Bush and they've both increased the size of government. we don't need a 4th term of Bush, that's why Obama is a one-term president.
