Reason being, the PS3 is still fun to play. People still continue to buy it. People played the PS1 for a long time. Then the PS2 for a long time. Then a PS3. People still play their PS2. The PS3 is still fun to many gamers, people who like movies and such.

There might be a new Xbox console in the year of 2013. I wouldn't expect Sony to make the PS4 until after 2013.

Nope, the PS4 is still in development... Once they go and actually showcase it, will it come out in 12-18 months... just like games..
