relative clauses的用法

relative clause通常用黎解釋某樣野

我淨係講d正規既俾你
(唔包外國人平時講野個陣既用法)

who->人
which->死物或動物

如果個pronoun係代表個主語就唔可以刪減
e.g. I know a man. He is a lawyer.
I know a man who is a lawyer.

但如果佢講既係受詞(object)就可以刪減
e.g.I spoke to a man, I had met him before.
I spoke to a man (whom)I had met before.

whose->one's(某個人的...)
e.g.That's is the woman. Her house caught fire yesterday.
That's the woman whose house caught fire yesterday.

當我地講返(refer)成句句子既話,就用which
e.g.He lent me some money. This was generous of him.
He lent me some money, which was generous of him.
(呢句野係講返佢借錢俾我成個action)

有時會加埋d前置詞.
e.g. in which
但係呢d係規範英語既不尋常格式
佢係正確,不過就好少用.
通常淨用一個which就算

**注意唔好係個pronoun後面用個d he,she,it
仲有who's唔等於whose
who's=who is / who has
whose = possessive(one's)
