Let the force acting on the object be F
Hence, net force = (F - 2g.sin(20) - 2) N = (F - 8.84) N
where g is the acceleration due to gravity, taken to be 10 m/s2

Acceleration of object = net force/mass = (F - 8.84)/2 m/s2
