我本書話Participle phrases 中如果係用( ing form )的，after, before, since, when 同while 5洗del，咁其他time words (如as個d )呢?

但係我份工課到叫我地把句子轉用Participle phrases，而問題係咁...
Q: When Henry saw hundreds of Japanese cartoon characters in the Cartoon, he felt very exited.
但係個model answer係...
A:Seeing hundreds of Japanese cartoon characters in the Cartoon, Henry felt very exited.
但係5係應該係下面個個答案咩
A:When seeing hundreds of Japanese cartoon characters in the Cartoon, Henry felt very exited.
仲有一條
Q: As Henry felt tired and hungry, he suggested that they go to the Snack Zone.
個model answer係...
A:Feeling tired and hungry, Henry suggested that they go to the Snack Zone.

先談分詞子句的幾種用法一)表示時間
如：Walking along the street, I met Peter
這句其實等同While I was walking along the street, I met Peter.
二）表示原因，或理由
如：Being tired, I laid down for a rest = As I was tired, I laid down for a rest.
三）表示條件
如：Turning to the right, you will find the hospital. = If you turn to right, you...
四）表示雖然的意思
如：Admitting what you, I still think you are wrong.
但因有時，我們也難分辨究竟是屬於哪種情況，所以會加上另外的字，如：
While walking along street, I met Peter.
As being tired, I laid down for a rest.

hahatse has given a good answer, but he left out some word(s) such as ' have done', 'say' after the word 'you', in example (四) 如' Admitting what you, I still think you are wrong'.

最簡單的解釋是 :
那兩種 [動作] 是要分開進行才行的而不能同時進行的,就要保留TIME ADV.
相反的,就可取消TIME ADV.

我沒有完滿的答案, 但也可以說說我的看法, 我認為"不用刪去" 不等於 "不可刪去", "可以使用"也不同於"一定要用".
我猜這是"意義(詞義)"的問題
before, after, since 的詞義是表示之前的時間或之後的時間
這些字如果略去, 只剩下participle phrase 的話便會失去了這些意思.
而 when, while等的詞義是正當某個時間,(示以詞彙形式)
如果略去這些詞, 單使用participle phrase仍能表示這種意義(示以語法形式).
但while,when, 有時能把焦點集中在動作的持續性上, 因而仍保留以帶出這額外的意義.
另一方面我也有如下的猜想:
有些可以作prep表示時間的詞(如before, after), 它們似乎通常不省去
而另一些詞表示時間但不作prep者(如when, while), 它們似乎可以省去
這又會不會有關係?
似是prep的詞要保留, 否則多予刪去. (我不肯定是否這樣)
只是我也想不通, 究竟participle phrase 前的before, after 是屬conj還是prep?
如果是prep, 為何後面不是用noun phrase?
如果是conj, 為何後面是non-finite verb phrase?
