在香港,港幣支票户口嘅支票在銀碼大寫之前都印有"H.K. DOLLARS"(港幣)嘅
字樣,所以你祗需填寫"One Thousand Only"(壹仟元正),就得啦.
如果是二千元,就寫"Two Thousand Only"(弍仟元正),唔使加"s"
如果係港幣支票户口,DOLLAR就是港幣,視乎你個係勿貨幣嘅支票户口.

一般而言，支票供填寫銀碼一欄開首已經預先印刷咗英文“HK DOLLARS”同埋中文「港幣」字樣，故此填寫銀碼時就唔駛再寫多一次“DOLLARS“。

填寫支票時，為免有人竄改，大寫銀碼後通常會加”ONLY“一字封尾，舉例$1000就加會寫成”ONE THOUSAND ONLY“。

另，DOLLARS係COUNTABLE NOUN， ＄1000係ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS，＄2000就係 TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS。眾數S要加喺DOLLAR之後，唔係THOUSAND之後。

而國際財經上，DOLLAR就泛指美元。
