I'm just curious that are there people in US know or people heard of my country, Taiwan

his friends even don't know about such country
honestly i'm quite upset after reading that article
and because i'm quite patriotic, and really proud of my country
i really want to know the answer

There are many many countries, big and small, in the world. I do not think that every one can name all these countries. Can you?If you meet some one who does not know the name of your country, you should kindly tell him about your country. You must show your sincerity and kindness to him.You have nothing to be hurt.

Yes. I have heard of Taiwan because I live in Taiwan, and it most certainly is NOT a part of Mainland China. Anyone who thinks it is is either poorly educated on the subject or a CCP propaganda mouthpiece.
