✔ 最佳答案
P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A and B)
0.58 = 0.3 + 0.4 - P(A and B)
P(A and B) = 0.12

I don't quite agree with 002.
P(A or B) is actually equal to P(A U B)
P(A and B) is actually equal to P(A ∩ B)
For any two non-mutual exclusive events:
P(A U B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A ∩ B)
which is as same as the above.

P(A and B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A or B)=0.3+0.4-0.58=0.12
