Someone selects a question from the exercises in Longman NSS Mathematics In Action 4B.
What is the probability that he/she selects a question with diamond sign?

It is not difficult indeed but very time consuming.

1) Count the total no. of questions in this textbook, including all Class Practices and Supplementary Exercises ( N1 ).

2) Count the total no. of questions with diamond sign as appeared in this textbook ( N2 ).

3) P( Question with diamond sign )

= ( Total no. of questions with diamond sign as appeared ) / ( Total no. of questions in this textbook )

= N2 / N1

4) It is time consuming for you need to count by yourself one by one. The calculation is easy indeed.
