a)Let V = (k1)m , m = (k2)t , were k1 , k2 are constants.thenV = (k1) (k2)t , (k1)(k2) is a constant.Therefore V varies directly as t.b)(V+m)= (k1) (k2)t + (k2)t= [(k1)(k2) + (k2)] t= (k2)(k1 + 1) t , (k2)(k1 + 1) is a constant.Therefore (V+m) varies directly as t.
