you can also get audio dramas http://audiodramadirectory.com/ the Sonic Society http://sonicsociety.org/ showcases modern audio drama
Most of what I linked can be downloaded through itunes store or other podcast catchers
there are also audio magazines like StarShipSofa and Escapepod http://www.starshipsofa.com/ http://escapepod.org/
I usually ask my local library for book on CD if not under Creative Commons or in Public Domain
