In my opinion, the government should legislate the minimum wage. Responding to people who have opinions with the government's plan which thet said it would undermine the competitiveness of the market. I totally disagree with this point, and the policy definitely have more good than harm. There are many poor people who work for hours and hours but their wages can possibily be under $6000, how could they live? When legislating a policy, the government must first of all consider the effects of the policy to the people. To conclude, I totally agree that the Government legislate the minimum wage.
