My comment as follows:
Without a PGDE only makes you a bit inconvenient in application of teaching post, because the schools would likely rank those with PGDE higher. Nevertheless, if your academic background suit their requirements perfectly or your personality impress them a lot, everything is possible. I can share with your some real experience:
One of my friends was a former BBA graduate in HKBU. After 2 years of working as a TA and 3 years as an executive assistant, she took a full time PGDE and now she is a teacher in a D.S.S.
I have also known quite a number of fresh graduates without PGDE can get teaching post, but they are encouraged to study PT PGDE immediately once they are employed in the schools. I think that is normal.
As 2011's market demand for teachers is high, I believe you have chances but the strategy is, you need to concentrate on Business related subjects like Econ, BAFS, plus a few other subjects you are capable and you will be able to teach, like LS, lower form Geog / Maths / CIT, etc, to increase your chance of recruitment. You need to impress the principals that you can let their setting of teacher's duties more flexibly and your existence can benefit them more than other applicants.
You should start now as the student teacher of my current school ( from HKIEd ) has received firm offer from a secondary school already, meaning that the market has been opened for quite a while.
Hope I can help you.
