My "friend" is really selfish and bossy. this is the second time we've fought.
while i was on a "island" in the middle of a creek/river, we had a argument. I was gonna leave, i didnt want what happened last time to happen again.
He got a large, cut down tree branch while i was crossing, and hit the fragile peice of wood i was crossing on.
It Snapped.
I fell 3 feet and landed in the water, which was maybe about bellybutton deep.
Of course, my phone, and my 100$ walkie talkie, are both pretty screwed.
I didnt control myself, i ran back and before i could do andy thing, he started to choke me.
I defended myself, being a black belt in taekwondo, and kicked him in the water. I crossed back to the other side, where his phone, binoculars, and walkie talkie lay, grabbed his binoculars, and threw it on the sand.
My phone now has permanent water damage. I called him a poor b**** and told him to live in an apartment forever.
He called me worse things.
I really want revenge, i regret not throwing his phone in the river.
What should I do?

Sorry to say but it is just as much your fault as your friends since it happened before you should of known better and left your phone somewhere safer. In the future if your phone falls in water just make sure you don't turn it on for at least a week to make sure that it is perfectly dry inside before switching it on. People make the mistake of wanting to turn on their phones after getting wet to see if they still work but all they are doing is causing them short out. Once they are completely dry nothing will happen. Also he didn't throw your phone in the water, only you. It wasn't his fault that you had your phone on you. You could of fallen in all by yourself without him even doing anything since you said that the branch was really fragile. With an expensive phone I would think that you were smart enough to buy the extra insurance on it . Also a person doesn't have to be rich to own an expensive phone or poor because they don't have one. Im far from poor or cheap but prefer my little samsung gravity II phone since that is all I need. Money comes and goes; One day you might find yourself without as much cash so don't be so quick to put those down who don't have it. If you two are really friends you should forgive and forget except to remember to not take your phone with you next time you are around water.

Sue him, (jk, but you can) get a new friend, and buy a new phone with insurance, since there isn't anything else you could do. If your phone has insurance the one he broke, your good.

Hes not your friend. 500 dollars tell him he has a month to pay it back or im going to court. Seriously 500 dollars i would go to court. Also go for assault and broken damage. Dont be scareedd
