(a)Express b in terms of a.
(b)If a =23°,find b.
(c)If b=a,determine whether OP is perpendicular to OQ.

1) b= 180-a-2a (adj. angles on st. line) b= 180-3a
2) If a=23
b=180-a-2a (adj. angles on st. line)
b=180-3(23)
b=180-69
b=111
3) If b=a
a+2a+b=180 (adj. angles on st. line)
b+2b+b=180
b=180/4
b=45
Because b=45
Therefore OP does not perpendicular to OQ as b isn't 90 degrees
