what kind of energy is stored inside the cannon ball?

when firing the cannon , what kinds of energy are given out?

If it is a cannon BALL (without any explosives in it) is would store no energy. (with explosives= chemical).

Firing the cannon. Fuse ignite the propellant (火藥) --CHEMICAL ENERGY

This produce HEAT ENERGY

Heat causes air to expend in the chamber (炮膛) to propel the cannon ball--KINETIC ENERGY

The cannon ball goes forward. But it may also go upwards--POTENTIAL ENERGY

You can hear the shot and see the muzzle flash (炮口火光) so that's SOUND and LIGHT energy.

Overall, CHEMICAL (propellant) > HEAT(chamber) > KINETIC (cannon ball) +POTENTIAL (cannon ball)+SOUND (cannon)+ LIGHT (cannon)
