Dog population

The dog population in Hong Kong are rising rapidly at these days.

According to the research done by Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department. It was estimated from the survey that 286 300 households were keeping pets at the time of enumeration, representing 12.6% of all households in Hong Kong. Of those 286 300 households keeping pets at the time of enumeration, nearly half (48.4%) were keeping dogs; 22.3%, cats and 19.3%, turtles / tortoises.
