The Records will NOT be removed or deleted. It will either become part of the Charging document or Kept in Police Force.
If you convicted with STEALING by court, you would either be gotten Jailterm or Parole. Both will be recorded as "" Criminal Offence"" !! That is even through no need to send to Jail, still have Criminal Offence Record. It is for life, will not be removed or deleted. Least or No chance of migration unless to Africa.
If the Records just be kept in Police Force, they will keep it for ever. Once a similar case happened, they will search through suspicious persons as per the Records. They might think of you !!
Why Stealing? It worth just couple of hundreds! Your future should worth much more than that !
