1 P(the sum of numbers chosen is even)

= (3*3 + 2*2)/(5*5)

= 13/25

2 P(both of them clean the room)

= 0.9*0.8

= 0.72

P(none of them clean the room)

= (1 - 0.9)*(1 - 0.8)

= 0.02

P(the room is cleaned this Saturday)

= 1 - 0.02

= 0.98
