In Brisbane, Australia, there is a garbage collection system. They (government) will give you two garbage bins, yellow and black lid'ed ones. All the recycle-able garbage (i.e. paper, cardboard, milk cartons etc.) are to be thrown into the yellow bins, and all the other ones (trash in general, i.e. toilet paper, food, condoms etc.). Depending where you live, the garbage truck will drop by once a week to collect the garbage you produce.
