friction in circular motion

Q:The sideway friction in this case is kinetic friction or static friction?

(Provided that the car does not shift up/down and the systm is in eq. while sideway friction not equal to zero)

In my pt. of view,it is static friction since kinetic friction is constant in value but static friction can be ajusted to a suitable value to balance the system
