Workingholiday visa is a working visa by itself.It is designed for you to go to work in Canada in a limited time to earn your vacation.
If you have an employer to sponsor you for a working visa, then you can apply for the visa in Canada.

As far as I know, if an employer will hire you, you can apply to change your visa to working visa in Canada. Just need to have someone who is willing to do that as there is lots of work by the employers.
