is it normal i dont like competition?

i mean i feel wierd when i get in a team. maybe its because my teamates when i used to play soccer were'nt that nice. thats why i left the team but, i mean now i skateboard i haave a really big passion for it but, i dont wanna compete. i just wanna feel calmed and not nervous. Is it normal for me at this age (13). I don't like feeling nervous and stressed. i dont like teams becuase i dont like being pressured neither competition. I can deal with friendly competition cause u know its friendly. my mom says its because i care about what others say. and i dont, i mean ofcourse it hurts when people criticize you but thats normal. i just go on with my day like if nothing happened. Is this normal?
