Would a 9-cell Acer Aspire One netbook battery last a lot longer than a 3-cell battery?

The 3-cell battery that came with my Acer Aspire One netbook lasted only about 2 hours before I had to recharge it. This was a full 2 hours short of what the advertisement in the paper had claimed. I am considering buying a more powerful battery online. What would be your best choice? What is the most powerful battery currently on the market?

I have a 9cell on my asus netbook and it runs 9.5 hours. not much bulkier and I love the extra battery life. I say go for it you will be pleasantly surprised.

I'd recommend a 6cell, a 9 cell would be super bulky for a netbook.

The number of cells in a battery determine the voltage of the battery. The size or composition of the cells determine how much compacity they have.
