Everyone of us on this planet is responsible for the nuclear disaster in Japan?

Greed. We all want gadgets, be rich, live comfortably, etc. It's because all these that we demand more energy. Now that a nuclear disaster has occurred (and not the first time in history), I only hear people worrying and asking about whether the radioactive substance in the air will reach different parts of the world and affect their health. You're selfish, and you should feel ashame of yourself. Think about the Toyota, Honda, Nissan that you drive. Think about the electronics that you use which are made in Japan. Look at the discipline of the Japanese people, even in chaos, they're not killing/fighting each other for survival but helping each other to get through this event. Look at you people, looting would be the first thing in your mind.

As for worrying about the radiation, put it in prospective, do you have any idea how many nukes the United States, Russia, China, Great Britain, France, India, Pakistan detonated above ground, prior the test treaties calling for under ground testing?

That's in addition to the two cities we vaporized in Japan in 1945. We nuked many islands in the pacific and we blasted a bunch of holes in the nevada test range.

So I wouldn't worry about that.

Second, Looting? Not the first thing I would think about, maybe shooting looters, but not looting myself.

Last but not least, I do appreciate you coming down off your cross, and taking the time to ask a question (sort of) on YA. If only we mere humans could be as righteous and prefect as you. Why have we not been blessed with your infinite goodness and wisdom until now? Maybe had you bothered to show us the errors of our ways prior to this moment, people wouldn't be dying from our own folly. So, their blood is on your hands because you chose to withhold that which could have saved them. You murderer. Climb back up on your cross, and shut the F*** up until you have something useful to say.

that's one way of looking at it. But no it's not.

That's like saying it's humanity's fault for people being crushed in an earthquake for wanting to live in houses rather than small mud huts.

i agree!...except the last line.

Japan is mainly responsible for its' own nuclear disaster. The only thing we can do is hope that nothing worst happens and help out. It's true that the natural disaster can't be prevented but they DIDN'T have to use nuclear energy. There are alternative ways for power.

Nice theory! I quite agree.

No, it is not our fault that there is a disaster in Japan.
Those nuclear plants are holding up surprisingly well under the circumstances, and I suspect they will keep nuclear damage to a minimum.
Meanwhile they have suffered a "great" earthquake, 9.0 magnitude, plus the tsunami, and are undergoing incredible hardship. That is Mother Nature's doing.
