Grammar question, please help?

I go to the restaurant when I am hungry.
I will go to the restaurant when I am hungry.

Which one is grammatically correct? or are they both right?

It depends, both are correct. When talking with a friend about meals and food and they ask, what do you do when you get hungry? The correct response is your first example.

Your room mate asks you, what's on your mind for lunch? Your second example is appropriate.

Both are correct. If your friend asks, "Where do you go when you are hungry?" you answer the first one. If your friend asks, "What will you do when you are hungry?" you will say the second one.

1 is present tense
2 is future tense
