1. B. Sodium chloride is nearly neutral. But sodium carbonate and ammonia are weak base while sodium hydroxide is a strong base.

2. Use a certain concentration of sodium hydroxide solution and added an amount of it to vinegar and lemon juice until the acids are neutralized. Then measure the volume of sodium hydroxide added to them respectively. The one being added more sodium hydroxide is more acidic.

3. There are sources of air pollutents, e.g. power station, factories near the northeastern US.
