at the end of xx是一句phrase，xx不同可以是不同的諺語或意思。
at the end of the day不是「一日結束(日落)之後」，而是「歸根究底」或「最終」
at the end of the road不是「一條路的盡頭」，而是「人生走至盡頭=年紀老邁」或「生無可戀了」或「被逼至走頭無路」
...
因此要學識英文第一部是學識把英文字句分組，才能有效提問和學習。前後文的句子也很重要的。
