1. What's the different between I begged & I begged for? Are below two sentences same meaning?

I begged Mary to stay for another week.

I begged for Mary to stay another week. ( Can I say "I begged for Mary to stay for another week" ??? )


2. If I "begged someone" "for Mary" to stay another week, what's the correct way to say?

I begged Mary to stay for another week
I begged of her father that Mary might stay for another week.

This is correct I begged Mary to stay for another week
I begged for her stay for another week to her father.
