I'm a senior and just finished applying to school. Stanford is my first choice, because I want to play on the squash team there. I am a dual-citizen of US and Finland, I'm a nationally ranked squash player, I am an All-State Soccer Player and All-League Player of the Year, and I'm the Junior Club Champion at my golf course. I'm a member of National Honors Society and International Studies Center. I'm involved in various philanthropies and I was in National Charity League for 4 years. I play piano and do photography for fun. I was crowned as the official Santa Lucia of my community for 2009. I have a 1800 combined SAT and a 30 ACT. My course load is rigorous and I've taken 9 IB classes (International Baccalaureate is offered at my school instead of AP and you're able to take these classes after sophomore year) and I have a 3.91 unweighted GPA and a 4.16 weighted GPA.
I know my test aren't that high, but I have a solid GPA and a lot of extracurriculars. My interview definitely went well, too. Although I'm not taking an official "recruit" spot, the squash coach is writing me a recommendation saying he wants me on the team for admissions. So I guess the million dollar questions is...Will I get in?!
