Crush on College Tutor?

I'm 18 and in my third year of community college. This year, we had several new tutors come into the college, and one of them I get along with really well. Well, I say that. We wind each other up all the time, but deep down we find it funny. I guess messing around all the time made me develop a crush on him of sorts. I'm not sure where to go with it, but at the moment I can't even keep eye contact when he looks at me; I have to turn away. He's only 5 years older than me, and he coincidentally shares the same birthday as me too (I've never known anyone to have the same birthday as me). I say to myself that nothing will happen, but sometimes when I'm alone with my thoughts I imagine what it would be like to be with him. I think the tutor has a girlfriend but he never mentions her. Anyway, should I just suppress my crush and forget about it, or turn the wind-ups into flirting of some sort and see where it goes from there? I don't want him to get in trouble, and I doubt he has feelings for me, but I just want some peoples opinions.
