are the new tax forms out from the i r s yet?

i tried filing my tax return last month, but was told since i'm filing itemized, the new forms wouldn't be out until sometime this month.

You should be able to submit the Schedule A February 15. That is the date that we have been given. The form is available, but the IRS has not been able to process it because of Congress delaying action until the last weeks of December 2010.

Look @ the IRS website - you can also do efiling that will be easier and faster; also thru the IRS website

The 1040 schedule A is available at irs.gov. The IRS just isn't able to process it yet.
