Deregistration 係指以公司條例第32章中第291AA節將公司名字從公司註冊署登記名冊內剔除。剔除唔代表公司無運作，祇係全體股東及董事同意將公司註銷，而任何人士有合理理由可以引用第291AB節向公司註冊署將其恢復在名冊內。
