well first off i'm 17 almost 18 and he's 20. i'm thinking of asking him out on friday. he's sorta shy though but i really like him anyways one of things i've noticed is the little kids i babysit (who he also knows) always say we like each other whenever we are all and each time he ends up messing with them and so it ends up stopping them from saying he likes me, also he looks at me from time to time and when there's silence he'll often playfully poke me. anyways this was just me thinking and wanting people's opinion. do you think he likes me? should i ask him out?

It's most definetly possible. You should watch his signals, though. If he makes moves such as hanging with you instead of the guys, being very playful and joking with you about him liking you, go for it!!!

yah physical touch is always a sign someone likes you give it a week and if he hasnt asked you out by then you do it.
