請問咩時候唔洗article (a/an/the) ??

眾數的名詞，當然不能用a或an。
可數名詞，又是一個，便用a或an，例如：a man、an apple。

the可用於countable 和 uncountable nouns，例如：the water, the boys, the man. 加上the，是特別指明某某。

I do not like children. （我不喜歡兒童。）

I do not like the children in that school. （我不喜歡那所學校的孩子。）

你看見the students認為是由於之前出現過這些students，所以用the亦算正確，但更嚴謹的講法應該是the students是作者表示特別指出的學生(們)[可能是他早前在說那些/亦可以是他接下去描述的the students that/who...]
