SOLVE THE FOLLOWING INEQUALITIES

2X-7< (6X-1)/3

Question: 2x-7 < (6x-1)/3
=3(2x-7) < 6x-1
=6x - 21 < 6x-1
=6x-6x-21 < -1
= -21< -1 (Answer)

However, I , think there should be an error on the question itself because the final solution should contain a "X". Check for it.

To make conclusion: Besides of calculation, we should add one more sentence after it:
"X can be any real numbers", isn't it?

-21< -1 (or 7 > 1/3) is NOT the Answer of this question.

Because the question required us to solve for X.

Since 2x - 7 < 2x - 1/3 is always true ,

so the answer is :

X can be any value.
