Americans say 'lab-r(a)-tory'. Many Britons say 'la-bOra-tree'.

La-bor-a-tory would be phonetically correct, however, convention and usage have shortened it to la-bra-tor-y (in the United States).

'la-bor-a-tree'. although i think it probably depends where you come from. i am from the UK and people where i live pronounce alluminium 'all-um-in-yum' whereas in the US people say 'all-oom-in-um'
