My parents just paid a bill online and 4 days later... it stated "payment reversal" What does it mean?

The trans action was undone ... changed back as if no payment had been made ... reversed.

Perhaps it was not done right. If it's near 30 days, have them call and offer to pay over the phone.

If you updated to a new credit card and did not give them the new info it will try to charge to old credit card and create a payment reversal.
