Just dummy variables
e.g f(x) = x^2 same as f(y) = y^2 same as f(x+1) = (x+1)^2
Of course we need to notice the limitations such as
f(x) = x^2 is not same as f(y^2) = y^4
e.g f(x) = x^2 same as f(y) = y^2 same as f(x+1) = (x+1)^2
