１． 「姊弟戀」或者甚至「母子戀」等有年齡距離的戀愛, 英文可以怎樣翻譯呢?

一般來說，我所較常聽到「老少配」的說法有兩種：
May-December relationship
或是
intergenerational relationship

於此，恕我用 relationship 此籠統的字來闡述「關係」。若要更明確的形容「戀」，那麼可以用其他字，如 romance。或者，如果是婚姻的話，用 marriage 來形容。另外 intergenerational relationship 的意思，「隔代的關係」。此意思非常明瞭，所以在此就不多解釋。

May-December relationship 就比較有趣。把人生比喻成一年之中的幾月。可以想成人生還不過半的配上了人生走到底的人。或是「末春」配上了「初冬」。

把歲數比成一年中的月份，以及把老的一方說成 December 或許有些嚴苛。因此，也有人婉轉一點的把 May-December 說成 May-October （或是 May-September)。也有人把這兩個月份都改變，來描寫差距，或是兩方的年紀。這些都是原來 May-December 此詞句的活用。

至於明確形容女方年紀較大，則無特定的說法。通常只是在把 May-December relationship 再加以形容，譬如： May-December relationship with an older lady.

２． 句子翻譯：「老妻少夫」的戀愛通常都不被身邊的人看好, 但總有些例子是經得起考驗的!

People don't usually expect May-December marriages between older women and younger men to last. However there are some exceptions that have withstood the test of time.

對不起，重新把版主的中文翻譯詢問想了一想。看來我沒有抓對您的意思，誤把「老妻少夫戀愛」看成婚姻。也沒有明確的把「身邊的人」點出。

可以把第一句修改成
When it comes to a May-December relationship involving an older lady and a younger man, people--especially those close to the couple--don't usually expect it to last.

"Old wives husbands less" loving people around are usually not good, but there are examples that stand the test of time!

OR


"little old wife husband" love being around people who usually do not optimistic, but there is example is the tried and tested!


OR

“old wife few husbands” the love usually does not favor by the person, but always some examples are the unable to stand the test!
