Lan Party game Recomendations?

im at college and as part of our course we have to organize a lan party. However the problem is we cant think of that many games to have in the lan party besides a few of the old greats Counterstrike 1.6 etc. we are aloud to bring our own consoles but we should be good on that front. what we need are some good games on the pc with a Lan Capability however console games would be nice to know about too in case there's a few we missed.
