Functional constituencies: Each functional sector represents an important economic, social or occupational group in the HKSAR. Eligible electors can vote for the representatives of their sectors.

The Judiciary follows the principles of the Common Law ,and upholds the independence of the judiciary: Judicial officers are not influenced by the Executive Authorities and Legislature in the due execution of judicial powers, They are independent in decision-making.
